Panama Papers Coffee was founded on a simple belief:
The world’s finest coffee should never come with hidden information.
After years working in technology, systems architecture, and complex environments where critical information was often buried beneath layers of abstraction, I became fascinated by the opposite principle: transparency.
While spending time in Panama and exploring the remarkable coffee-growing regions of Boquete and Volcán, I discovered some of the most extraordinary coffees on earth. Yet despite their quality, most consumers knew very little about what they were actually drinking.
The varietal was often unclear.
The producer remained anonymous.
Processing methods were reduced to marketing language.
Roasting decisions were rarely discussed.
The story behind the coffee was hidden.
That disconnect inspired the creation of Panama Papers Coffee.
Our name is a deliberate reference to disclosure. Just as the original Panama Papers brought hidden information into public view, our mission is to declassify coffee by revealing the details that matter.
We believe coffee lovers deserve complete visibility into every cup:
Every release is treated like a declassified intelligence file, providing a complete origin report rather than a marketing story.
From rare Geishas to exceptional Pacamaras and other distinguished Panama-grown coffees, we seek out remarkable lots and document them with the level of detail they deserve.
No mystery sourcing.
No vague descriptions.
No information withheld.
Just extraordinary Panamanian coffee, fully disclosed.
